Today we have the indefinite articles ( A / AN) اليوم سنقوم بدراسة 

1- usually, every word star in consonant We must put (A) عموما كل كلمة تبدأ بحرف

Exemples:

a school   مدرسة       

a house منزل

a university جامعة

2- and evry word star with vowel We must put (an)
                                    
 an animal  

 an (h)our

هناك اشكال في الكلمات التي تبدأ بحرف 
H
هناك كلمات نضع أمامها 
AN
وهناك كلمات نضع أمامها
A
فعندما يكون حرف 
H 
منطوق فاننا نضع 
a
وعندما يكون حرف 
h 
غير منطوق فاننا نضع 
an

وفيما يلي بعض الأمثلة التوضيحية لكل ما سبق


1. a  woman
Explications : son consonne: /w/
2. an  ice cream
Explications : son voyelle: /ai/
3. a  horse
Explications : (on prononce le h)
4.  a uniform
Explications : son /j/ - Attention, il faut s'intéresser aux sons et non aux lettres. "uniform" commence par un son consonne : /j/ comme dans USA ou YELLOW.
5. an  accident
Explications : son voyelle: /a/
6. a  horrible dream
Explications : on prononce le "h"
7. a  year
Explications : son /j/
